Calligraphy: Learn the art of making beautiful letters: traditional and contemporary.   Drawing Basics: You'll ease into drawing on the very first day.
Colored Pencil for Beginners: This class covers the essentials of colored pencil.   Colored Pencil 1: Look for the beauty in simple objects. Learn techniques and color layering.
Colored Pencil 2: Use colored pencil on black and other unique surfaces.   Colored Pencil and Watercolor: Boost the power of colored pencil. This combination produces an effect unlike that of either medium alone.
Flower Portraits in Colored Pencil: Work from live flowers. Explore their color, shape and beauty.   Polish it with Metal: Produce the effects of metal (brass/gold, silver, copper) using color formulas that make it fun and easy.
Composition: Correct use of composition Principles separates good art from bad. Janie makes composition easy.   Beetles, Shells, Eyes, and Other Shiny Stuff: Learn how to make stuff shiny. You'll be amazed at how easy it is.
Textures in Colored Pencil: Feathers and Beyond: Take a close look at feathers, fur and scales. Draw from (and photograph) live animals in the classroom.   Colored Pencil and Pastel: Crank up the speed. Enhance the power of the colored pencil with soft pastel. Create brilliant color and an extensive range of values not possible with colored pencil alone. No former experience with pastels is necessary.  
Colored Pencil on Mylar: Work on a totally smooth surface. You'll be amazed at the results. Color is vivid, rich, and sumptuous and looks like velvet on this plastic vellum. It's a whole new world and different from anything you've experienced before!
